Local women work to revive Broad Vocabulary
After three years, Broad Vocabulary, Milwaukee's only feminist bookshop, closed its doors. Now, a group of six women are determined to reopen the shop in a new space and as a cooperative. A Broad Vocabulary benefit event is set for Feb. 28 at Frank's Power Plant.
