Brewers Notebook: For now, no need for fifth starter
With a couple of strategically-placed off days, the Brewers won't need a fifth starter until June 27. That made Manny Parra's demotion to Class AAA Nashville an easy decision to make.

Anderson, Schroeder form solid double-play combo
Early in their third season calling Brewers games together on Fox Sports Wisconsin, Bill Schroeder and his partner Brian Anderson have emerged as one of the top duos in a sports market that boasts several solid broadcasters. It's impossible to think of broadcast teams in an individual sense. It's their work together that makes them either enjoyable or a bore.

With the passings this week of both Harry Kalas and Merle Harmon, I've been thinking a bit about how lucky we all are to have Bob Uecker calling Brewers games on the radio. I hope, as fans, we don't take "Mr. Baseball" for granted. He's such a legend, and we're lucky to have him.
