Orton charms Pabst crowd -- but not too much
It took three albums and a decade of being on the music scene for Beth Orton to pit stop in Milwaukeee, but she finally arrived in Brew City and performed for a charged-up audience at the Pabst Theater last night.

Aqualung's return draws devoted crowd
A wildly attentive and excited crowd welcomed Aqualung, a.k.a. Matt Hales, back to The Pabst Theater Thursday night. The four-month gap between shows proved to have a snowball effect for the British pianist and his band. Apparently absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Aqualung floods Pabst with beauty, warmth, wit
Britain's Aqualung -- often likened to the mellow sounds of Nick Drake and Coldplay -- graced The Pabst Theater's stage on Wednesday night, promoting his album, "Strange and Beautiful." It was a show to see, but unfortunately, few did.
