"Monsieur Ibrahim" draws strength from sincery and charm
Omar Sharif's new film is so simple, so sincere that it's a shame to give away the plot. Over the course of 90 minutes, Momo and Ibrahim grow ever closer and each provides the other with a daily ray of sunshine.

"L'Auberge espagnole" has Euro "Friends" feel
"L'Auberge espagnole" is Parisian slang for a "free for all" but the film doesn't really have the wild feel that the title might suggest. Really, it's more "Friends" as a thinly-veiled analogy for the European Union.
