Whisker war: A night at Uptowner's third annual beard contest
The Uptowner was packed and not just for a late Sunday afternoon. Jock Jams blared from the speakers, and anticipation was in the air. It is filled with radio hits, hand clapping, lighter waving, guitar solos and committed, heartfelt, energetic musicianship. The latter is, for the most part, why tonight's show at Summerfest's Marcus Amphitheater was sold out.
