Get ready for a major cable channel shuffle
Consider this an early warning, but Time Warner Cable, the area's biggest TV programming provider, has released its new digital channel lineup -- which will go into effect in October 13 for subscribers in southeast Wisconsin.

It's easy to dismiss the importance of ABC's announcement Wednesday that Diane Sawyer is taking over the "World News" anchor chair from Charlie Gibson at the beginning of 2010. After all, nobody watches those evening newscasts anymore -- depending on how you define "nobody."
