Pearl Jam connects with Packers, Bucks
Pearl Jam returned to Milwaukee after nearly two decades, and it made connections to the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks, dedicating songs to Aaron Rodgers and Bobby Dandridge and sporting jerseys. Members of the current Packers were in attendance, too, and Matt Flynn got the experience of a lifetime.

Florentine's "Flying Dutchman" is a chance to hear opera at its very best
It was just a rehearsal - no costumes, no set, no orchestra, no chorus, no plush seats, no lights on stage. As a matter of fact, there was no stage at all, just a piano. And the whole thing was in German. In spite of all of those things that weren't there, the thing that was there was a fascinating story and some amazing voices that told the story with such romance and strength that I followed the whole thing from my folding chair.

The Packers' roots run deep in Milwaukee
Most remember that the Green Bay Packers used to play some of their home games in Milwaukee, but did you know that this tradition went on for over 60 years and was played at four different locations? In fact, the threat of moving the team to Milwaukee permanently was the impetus for the construction of Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Its one of the reasons why tonight's game against the Minnesota Vikings is a "gold game" for Milwaukee season ticket holders.
