About me: The lure of the big, little city by the lake brought me to Milwaukee more than seven years ago. I have since grown to love Milwaukee with every bone in my body and make sure that I tell everyone how great it is to live here -- especially when I travel.

 I Was Just Sexted!
I was just sexted or "sex texted" accidentally.Apparently there is a woman in Milwaukee who was very excited to send me a nude photo of herself at 10:34 a.m. today. And it's not even a good photo -- more along the lines of a gynecological mug-shot. I naively opened the message, thinking...

 Local Groundhog Sees Shadow
Jimmy the Groundhog, Wisconsin's official winter weather prognosticator, saw his shadow this morning in Sun Prairie, Wis. There will be six more weeks of winter weather despite this week's mid-winter thaw. Sun Prairie delcared itself the official Groundhog Capital of the World in 1952 and ...

Burning the Bad Luck Brewers Hat
As you cheer on the Brewers in game two of the NLDS against the Phillies tonight, send a little cheer of thanks to my pal Aaron Gross. Why?  Oysters & Wine - Friday's Perfect End

Reader poll
Would you rather suffer through a December of sub-zero temperatures and blizzards or a first-round playoff loss at the hands of Brett Favre?
I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
This is like choosing the least painful way to die.
