About me: Hello my name is Judy Steffes and I have a bad bicycling habit. This year I'm flying to Seattle, running the Rock n' Roll marathon and then bicycling home. Yes, I consider this vacation. I'm still using my 21-speed, blue Centurion bicycle (1982) I will be camping at churches, backyards, and designated camp sites. Similar to past tours to Colorado, Boston, N.C, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Spain this will be a solo venture with no sag support.

 133 mile day
Jordan, MT - July 15, 2009   Tough day at the office. Pedaled 133 miles from Lewistown to Jordan.    Weather was sunny, mid-70s and with the day off Tuesday, I had extra energy.   I kicked up some antelope in a field, but other than that the ride was extremely desolate.  ...

Reader poll
Would you rather suffer through a December of sub-zero temperatures and blizzards or a first-round playoff loss at the hands of Brett Favre?
I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
This is like choosing the least painful way to die.
