About me: After four years at Saint Louis U I have moved back to the city and state that I love. Unfortunately, my English degree does not lead to a very diverse set of career options. My affinity for the outdoors has led to aspirations of camping and hiking for a living. Whether it involves trail crew, eco-tourism, or environmental journalism, I would love to make a career out of traveling and breathing fresh air. For now I'm just trying to find the un-marked trailhead to start my own journey.

Urban Ecology Center Brings Nature to City-Dwellers
A small fire eminates heat and a soft glow from the woodburning stove as a few students and volunteers gather on the rustic couches, awaiting the morning's programs. Sounds of a tropical rainforest begin playing in the waterfall room as a group of inner city children ...

 Bush Finally Taking the Hint?
According to an article in today's Journal Sentinel, President Bush plans to address global warming and greenhouse gas emissions in tonight's State of the Union. It's been a long time coming, George, and I don't think the "better late than never"...
