WI MMA Today Television Show Debuts Tonight on My24 Milwaukee at 10:30pm
It's no secret to fans of local combative sports that Wisconsin is one of the top fight scenes in the country. Featuring gyms across the state in areas such as Kenosha, Madison, and Green Bay, there is no shortage of talent in America's Dairyland.
But the heart of Wisconsin's fight scene is Milwaukee as gyms such as Roufusport, Red Schafer MMA, Neutral Ground, and Adrian Serrano Combat Sports Gym are located within the city.
Starting tonight, residents within the Greater Milwaukee Area will be privileged to a brand new television show aimed at providing even more exposure to the state's fight scene. WI MMA Today airs each Saturday night at 10:30 pm on My24 Milwaukee and will subsequently be posted on Youtube each Monday.
Hosting the new show will be a number of familiar faces around the area including UFC title contender Anthony "Showtime" Pettis, legendary Roufusport coach Duke Roufus, North American Fighting Championship and Roufusport partner Scott Joffe, and combative sports journalist Paul Fladten – yep, that was third person.
The man working the countless and sleepless hours behind the scenes is up-and-coming Producer and Director Kenn Williams. WI MMA Today is Williams' second stint within the combative sports world as he previously produced a highly successful documentary centered upon former Roufusport amateur fighter Elias Garcia.
Tonight serves as the show's inaugural episode and will be mainly focused on last week's North American Fighting Championship "Armageddon" card. Competitors featured on the show are Luis "Kool Whip" Garcia, Matt Eisenzimmer, R'Mandel Cameron, Kevin Tadder, Kevin Vasquez, and Devon Seitz.
Along with the three fights from NAFC "Armageddon" the episode will showcase a segment with Pettis. Make sure to tune into WCGV My24 Milwaukee tonight at 10:30pm for all the latest coverage of Wisconsin MMA. A special debut showing is scheduled to take place tonight at Milwaukee's Showtime Sports Bar at 11410 W Silver Spring Rd.
