ART MUSEUM TRANSFORMS

Is the Milwaukee Art Museum--A TRANSFORMER!?
Milwaukee's Art Museum has a feeling of SCI FI Maritime, touring NASA, Space Shuttling, Clock Work Oranging Moloko Malls, Final Fantasizing Air Ships, Airports, Star Wars windows in Space.
I was surprised how well Milwaukee and the Art Museum worked as a setting in TRANSFORMERS Dark of the Moon. Seeing the museum and Milwaukee in [3D] was a near ‘spiritual' moment filled with town pride and the unmistakable rush of knowing "Yeah I been there like a thousand times!" If recent memories serve correct, there are only two other "3D" movies I have seen that are worth the hassle of paying the extra $$$ to be left with a feeling that is--more annoying than enjoying.
Avatar! Certainly is the first one and I'll throw in a Piranha 3D as being the only two ‘3D' worth the bother of putting glasses on. That was until now--TRANSFORMERS Dark of the Moon has a scene in Milwaukee's Art Museum that will blow your Milwaukeean mind! There is so much Art Museum and Milwaukee you will probably see someone you know in (3-D)--it's that ‘Milwaukee'. It‘s almost [3D] Milwaukee porn for at least one lengthy scene--that is for locals only.
The other aspects of the movie are great but only if you still have a Gobot somewhere or know a lot about Mechs. There are some other saving graces for Dark of the Moons, mainly the SCI FI 60's Conspiracy theories, everything is explained historically, weaving our factual history with Transformers fictional history, resulting in a contrived people pleaser.
If not for at least one cool scene featuring your hometown hero, The Calatrava! I left the theater wishing buildings could be Transformers and that Calatrava should have been the first building TRANSFORMER and saved the world and Milwaukee. That would have made for a much better movie but I think they just filmed the rest in Chicago.
So while it was as cheesy as--a Moons over my Hammy--Dark of the Moons did make me think... about Pink Floyd... and copyright infringement and of course Milwaukee's Art Museum!
Seriously though, could Milwaukee's Art Museum be a TRANSFORMER?
Sometimes I see it moving just a little.
