Thank you to our distinguished weathermen of the city for covering breaking news.
At approximately 11:15 am today, giant waves attacked our shores. As I saw our fearless weatherman braving the cold to capture footage of these unknown foreign beasts, I thanked my lucky stars.
"It appears that waves were planning this attack for quite some time now. I'm pretty sure they came from Michigan, or something." Proclaimed a local swimmer, whose daily routine was stymied by the sudden enemy.
