August 2007, My family had plans to go down to St. Louis to visit my grandma, she lives on McCausland Ave. so you don't think I am full of it. Well at the end of June as I finished up a round of golf at Paganica in Oconomowoc, I had a stroke. Being only 31 at the time I was surprised to say the least. I was at froedert for a couple weeks before getting out to go to the senior pga championship at Whistling straits. The trip was still on. Even though I was released from the hospital I was still getting tested multiple times a week. My family went down to St. Louis. The second day we were there standing at the base of the arch I got a call from my doctor. She said I need to come home, they found something that concerned her. Not taking this advice lightly, the nexgt day my wife, daughter and I left to come back up to Milwaukee for another two weeks in the hospital. I recovered great, but would love to go back down to St. Louis with my wife and 3 year-old daughter to see my grandma, and drink some Miller Lite in Budtown.
