Let me begin by saying I am not the world's best driver nor do I know everything about the road...but I do know this - you should not make a left-hand turn from the right lane.
In the past month I have witnessed three instances of people driving down Prospect Ave and making a left hand turn from the right lane - what gives? Last summer my car was hit when a van in the right lane made a left turn into my car. He was about to continue on his turn from Prospect to Kane Pl when my boyfriend ran out of my car and stopped him.
I also witnessed a hit and run about a month ago with the exact same series of events. After seeing this and experiencing it first hand I no longer will drive in the left lane on that street.
But my questions is why? I know there are bad drivers everywhere and this could happen on any street - but I have seen it way too often on Prospect Ave. Please Pay Attention People!

Wow, I can't believe this has happened to someone else!! Someone turned into me from the right lane at Curtis St.!!! I recommend that you carry water balloons and spoild cheesecake in your car to throw at the inattentive drivers!
Also, watch out at Whole Foods, just north of North Ave. People are constantly veering left from the right land to go onto Maryland Ave.
