Ole and Lena got a new neighbor!  Ole went to visit and noticed the new neighbor Lars, had a pet pig. 

Ole asked him what is with the pig, who had  a wooden leg.  Lars went on and on about this pig who he claimed was the smartest pig there ever was.  Lars had been mowing ditches with his tractor and the tractor rolled over and pinned him to the ground.  The pig heard his crys and came to the rescue, digging underneath Lars so he could crawl out and be freed. 

Yeah Ole agreed that was pretty amazing but what about the wooden leg?  Lars went on and on about how smart that pig was, in fact, Lars said their house caught fire one night and the pig smelled the smoke and squealed so loud the whole family woke up to escape the flames. 

Ok ok that's a mighty smart pig, I agree, but what about the wooden leg.   Lars related that one night he was milking cows in the barn and it was blowing snow outside so bad that he lost his way when he tried to return to the hous e, the pig heard his cries and guided him safely back to the house.

 Enough, enough, I agree Ole said, that there is the smartest pig ever, but what with his wooden leg!!!!  Well, Lars paused, a pig that smart, you just couldn't eat him all at once.
