Long before he joined Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers -- decades before he collaborated with Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, John Prine and Roy Orbison -- Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer Howie Epstein was at home in Milwaukee crafting his own substantial catalog of brilliant original material.
Now a collection of those rare recordings can be heard for the first time ever on a new limited edition CD entitled 'Early Tracks/Volume 1' -- which is available at CDBaby and iTunes.
The following video clip celebrates Howie performing "Is It Love?" (Epstein/Lamek/Ross) from his debut solo album. Jim Abbott of the Orlando Sentinel described the cd as "really wonderful, ranging from country-tinged ballads to tuneful rock songs."
