We dined at one of our Milwaukee faves, Cafe Hollander the other night and received an advertisement with our check. It said "go Dutch at Cafe Hollander for Valentines ... romantic dinner menu, beer flights, etc." At the bottom it said, "reservations recommended." We decided it sounded great and called that night to reserve a table for February 14. I was shocked when I was informed rather curtly by a young man on the other end that "Cafe Hollander only takes reservations for parties of 6 or more." I said, "For Valentines Day?" "Yup." What is up with that, Cafe Hollander? Are you catering to the swingers crowd this Valentine's?

P.S. Swig is where we ended up making reservations. They are having a special "romantic menu for 2" as well as complimentary glasses of champagne.
