This year was a crappy one for me.. bad beginning, but now things are looking up..

 MOVIE:There are tons I have not yet seen.. due to the lack of captioning in theatres here in Milwaukee, (just 2 theaters!!) but for what is out on DVD, I would say my favorite is either Ironman or the Dark Knight. I have yet to discover a good drama, I can't wait for Doubt and Slumdog Millionare to hit DVD well after the Oscars are over. 

MUSIC:I seriously cannot answer this question, other than the fact that my favorite band, Counting Crows put out a new album, the only one I bought this year, since I have learned to understand Adam's voice over the years.. some singers are difficult to understand! 

CONCERT: Yet again, Counting Crows/Maroon 5 at the Marcus, was the only show I went to. I had two of my favorite interps there for the alternate lyrics Adam loves to belt out.. and just listening/watching to him create spine ticking version of Round Here made the exorbant ticket price worth it. He does that at every show, for their older songs, (Rain King, Round Here, Murder of One, and Sullivan Street) creating a new version at every concert. Oh and I didn't watch Maroon 5 at all.

EVENT: Obama getting elected. I will never forget the roar when he won Ohio, at Club Garibaldi's, and it was my best friend's birthday too!! I didn't want to go into work the next day. 

 TV: I have an odd taste in shows. I hate moral dramas like 7th Heaven, and sitcoms bore me to death now. There are only 6 shows I like to watch and 2 are on preimum channels I don't have. My current top 4 that I can get are.. The Closer, Heroes, Family Guy, and No Reservations (way to lay on the snark Tony!), and the other two I can't wait till they hit DVD are, Weeds and Big Love. Other than those, I really don't watch TV.

That kinda sums up a bit of 2008 for me. I am sooo looking forward to 2009 right now, I can't wait to move, go on vacation and buy a puppy! That's all I really have planned.
