Last night... I settled down to watch Heroes on channel 4. As the show began, I noticed that they were still showing the closings, and by showing that, they were blocking the captioning!!! I was not happy. I could just let it pass, and watch it today online, with subtitles, however after booting my man out of the house, (He hates the show eh?) I just wanted to relax and watch. So I pulled out my trusty blackberry, and did some googling, and found the number for the station, and then switched the tv to my trusty Sorenson VP. I got an interp pretty quick, and after several calls landing in voicemails, I finally got a person and told them that the school closing where blocking the captioning. Apparently someone there had FORGOTTEN to turn them off.
After the next commerical break... lo the closings where gone, and the captioning was working!! Woot!!! I did a small happy dance as I settled in for the rest of the night. I love my captioning!
