This morning I got in a huge row with my man. I just go so mad at him over something so tiny and petty as I dropped him off at work. So, on my way in, I turned on the radio to listen to some christmas music to cheer myself up. I was feeling a bit better as I pulled into the gas station near work to fill up, since one of my favorite tunes was playing.
So I filled up quickly and got back into the car to continue listening. As I drove off.. I looked back and I realized I was hurrying so much I forgot to put the gas cap back in!
Luckily I wasn't that far away.. did a U-Turn and headed back to the station.. and as I pulled in a kind stranger said to me that my cap was in the cross walk, and pointed toward it. I quickly parked my car and thanked the stranger and bid him a Merry Christmas!
If it wasn't for that kind person.. I would have looked around the gas station, but probally not the streets! Now I am in the mood to do something nice for someone else....

yeah, your always gonna want to put that gas cap back on. It's safer and keeps your gas from evaporating.

Sandstorm, I just wear a powerful hearing aid in my right ear. So powerful its one of those behind the ear models, since I hate the annoyance of the in the ear ones. In my left ear.. I hear.. well.. nothing, nada, zip, zilch.. the big fat zero. I also consider your concern legit, or I wouldn't have addressed it.
Is everybody happy now? Is everybody clear?

geez, the one time i honestly didn't mean to stir things up!
Joscasta, i seriously didn't want to start trouble, i was just curious if you wore or had some such device i was not familiar with that allowed you to somehow hear the stereo. (maybe it's just a powerful hearing aide.)
i know this analogy sux, but kind of like braille allows the blind to read.

I hope that this gets cleared up. I was happy that blog won too. If it turns out to be untrue that would be a shame.

When I take out my hearing aid.. I cannot hear a damned thing, unless someone is speaking very loudly directly into my ear.
Now with my hearing aid in.. I can hear music if I crank up my hearing aid all the way and crank up the volume up all the way on the radio. It annoys the hell out of my hearing friends so I only do it when I am alone in the car.
