Located at 2643 South Kinnickinnic Avenue this unassuming little cafe was a big hit. I went because I had won a $50 gift care from an OMC contest. Oh baby. Anyway, my little lady and myself went for brunch with another couple and really enjoyed it. Here is the rundown:

The lady in the other couple ordered the chicken frittata I believe. I know it was a frittata, and I know It was great. The potatoes that accompanied it were also great. A frittata is similar to an omelet, the egg just doesn't get folded over the top. 

The Gentleman got the french toast. I am not a huge french toast guy, but let's just say the guy I was with could hardly breathe he was piling in the french toast so fast. 

My Lady friend and I split the chicken pesto panini and the spicy shrimp pizza. The panini was so good. If there is one thing that can make a good sandwich a great sandwich it's the bread (Taste exhibit A in this case) The fresh Moz cheese, and pesto didn't hurt either. The pizza was also quite good. I was really impressed by the quality of the shrimp, and the crust/sauce really made this pizza a winner. 

If you are in bayview, or down in that area on old KK ave. you have to grab a sandwich or some brunch at Annona Bistro. The food merits you patronage. I recommend a panini or a pizza I can't imagine there is a single one that is a miss. If you are into the breakfast foods I gotta say they all seem like real safe bets as well.
