Hello Milwaukee,
Just a quick update from Revolush:
Thanks to all who came out and made Martyfest 2008 a success. He was genuinely surprised and a good time was had by all. Our MySpace page has a couple new photos from MF '08. Remember that this page is also is a good way to stay updated about the goings on of Revolush.

We have three shows to update you quickly about.
First, coming up on the longest day of the year, we'll be at MKE's own Summer Solstice festival on Saturday June 21 at 5pm. The festival is basically a huge block party with two stages, lots of local bands, food, BEER, and activities to get into. I heard tell of a Qdoba burrito eating contest, which I would participate in if I wasn't playing shortly thereafter. Did I mention the beer? Drink in public on city streets when it's legal. Anywho, it should be a good time, so come on down. In the meantime, check out their MySpace page to get more info about the festival. Don't forget to catch us 5pm SHARP.
***This show is ALL AGES***

Coming up next, as part of Oconomowoc's Summer Concert Series, Revolush will be playing Saturday July 12 at 7pm. ***Due to the construction in downtown Oconomowoc, the Summer Concert Series are NOT being held at the usual City Park Band Shell*** Instead, the venue has been moved to Roosevelt Park, which is only a stone's throw away anyways. This won't be the first time we've played in Oconomowoc, because our rehearsal space is there, but there will be less Brewer game breaks and fighting this night.
***This show is ALL AGES***
The last update is concerning the August Shank Hall show. ***It has been moved from the 15th to the 2nd of August*** so, mark your calendars.
Finally, an "in the studio" update:
Hashing out the vocals and production is the final step in our journey to make a rock album. After that is done, we'll strap on the thinking caps and make sure everything is great, not just good. We're taking our time with this. For those of you who want a date, I'd ballpark it in late summer/early fall, but I don't want to make any false promises.
Have a good summer,
Rockwell "Go See Live Music" Emmet
