People to the north and east of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: you knew what you were getting into when you moved next to a university!  This isn't some sort of new thing.  Somebody moves next to an airport and complains about the noise of those darned planes.  Same with railroad tracks.  Hell, I live near the stadium and the traffic can be awful, but we knew what we were getting in to when we CHOSE to live there.

Give me a break!  Guess what?  Stupid college behavior didn't just begin when you decided to grace the East Side with your presence.  Does this mean that I defend all irresponsible behavior and laugh it off as "college fun"?  No.  However, a certain amount of college fun shouldn't be interpreted as ruining the neighborhood.  Get real Shorewood.
