Well, I sort of swayed from one of my resolutions already. Ah, who am I kidding. I failed. Today as I was taking my daily drive with Waylon I realized we hadn't eaten yet and he needed to before he took his nap. I also noticed a coupon for a free happy meal in the passenger seat. So, I innoce... Posted by mortauthority at 8:31 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

Having lived in Waukesha for the past three years, I often lament the lack of interesting dining choices in the land o' chains. We dine out a lot in Milwaukee, but sometimes you just want something close to home. Unfortunately, the options tend to run along the lines of steak houses... The sun was bright that Sunday morning. I showered, shaved and put on my selling suit and headed to Milwaukee's Eastside to show the vacuum of the future to my dear old friends Joe and Ani. We had an 8.30am appointment. I left with plenty of time, believing that my 7 years living in Milw... Posted by mortauthority at 10:22 a.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

I live in Jefferson, pop. 7,800. When you’re traveling along I-94 from Milwaukee to Madison, we’re five miles south of the Johnson Creek outlet mall you encounter about fifty miles west of Milwaukee. We’re in the bare spot between the sprawl creeping out from Waukesha and Madiso... Posted by jfoust at 1:35 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

Going out for dinner anyplace, it seems like there is an explosion of parents with toddlers. When did this happen, when did people decide it was such a good idea to make other people have to put up with their progeny? The fact that there are babies doesn't seem so strange to me, I like to pract... Posted by eddiekilowatt at 1:47 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

I don't profess to be a food critic, however, as someone who enjoys cooking, has some sense of taste and works hard for their money I have a right to give my two cents. I am rarely impressed with what I eat at any restaurant, if anything I am usually disappointed. I do read the reviews written b... Posted by lovetowrite at 12:05 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

Although at first I was sceptical about the new restaurant in the old Gil's location. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible lax atmosphere and friendly service at Cafe Hollander. I enjoyed a cumin crusted tuna sandwich which was delicious and I would highly recommend. I a... Posted by Mindie_Asuma at 5:17 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |

I am sure that almost everyone reading this has tried at least one restaurant in southeastern Wisconsin based on a review by Journal Sentinel food critic Dennis Getto. I am also guessing that at one time or another you have been terribly disappointed by a restaurant that received high praise from... Posted by EatWisconsin at 4:04 p.m. | Talkbacks Category: Dining |
