Description:
Avoided has been together for two years and has attained a vast amount of performance experience and a loyal following. Formed in the winter of 2000 in Milwaukee’s East Side, the band quickly became Milwaukee’s premier underground punk band. Associated with Uniform Records (Madison, WI), Avoided has accompanied and headlined over 21 bands, both local and national. Performances at established venues include; Quarters (Milwaukee), The Commons (Milwaukee), UW-Milwaukee, 8th Note Café (Milwaukee), and Jitters (Whitewater).We recently completed our second CD, recorded at Walls Have Ears Studio (Milwaukee). The band has been described as both 80's hardcore punk, and classic American punk rock.
