Americans may love it but Europeans were the ones to create the hip-hop sounds that No Request Sound brings to Moct Bar tonight.
Yo! Majesty and British sensation Natalie Stewart play tonight in what's sure to be a heavy hip-hop get down.
Shunda K and Jwl B of Yo! Majesty recently released their second full-length album titled "Futuristically Speaking ... Never Be Afraid" further exploring their alternative rap, neo-electro style.
Likewise, Natalie "The Floacist" Stewart is the mastermind behind the English R&B neo soul group Floetry; their work in 2005 earned the duo seven Grammy nominations.
Stewart recently released her first solo album titled "The Floacist...xx" and joins Yo! Majesty for a national tour.
Hit up Moct Bar tonight in the Third Ward to catch the full show at 9 p.m. Why B and DJ Diamonds of FutureBoyfriend host.

How does Moct generally get the word out about these shows? This same thing happened with Diplo last spring, it seems to come out the day of that there's a show. I know it's not just me that's out of the loop.
