Summerfest announces July 3 Rush show
Summerfest announced today that Canadian power trio Rush will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Saturday, July 3 at 7:39 p.m.
The show is part of the Time Machine Tour, in which Rush will perform its album, "Moving Pictures" in its entirety.
Released in 1981, "Moving Pictures" was the band's most successful album, certified "4x Platinum" and features some of Rush's most well-known songs like "Tom Sawyer," "Limelight" and the Grammy-nominated instrumental "YYZ."
The band is currently working on their 20th studio album with producer Nick Raskulinecz.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m. and include Summerfest admission. Summerfest 2010 will take place June 24 - July 4 from noon until midnight daily.
