A Pezzettino tour update
Riverwest musician Margaret Stutt -- aka Pezzettino -- is on the road around the Upper Midwest and she checked in today to tell us how things are going. We profiled her here at OnMilwaukee.com recently.
"Is it snowing there," she asked. "It's snowing up here in the U.P. I'm glad I brought my shovel.
"The tour has been AWESOME. I'm almost sad that I'm returning to Milwaukee, the response on the road has been overwhelming. The show last night -- on a Tuesday -- was packed!!
"Right now I'm in the U.P. lounging at Northern Michigan University Campus waiting around for a radio interview, then the show tonight. I wrote two songs in the past two days that just have stomping / snapping for instrumentation (right now). Not sure if I'll ever add accordion / piano because I really like the audience participation when the only thing going on is everyone stomping together! Someone suggested that I mic the floor to capture the stomp ... I might try that tonight.
Want to know more? Stutt is updating the blog on her Myspace page during the tour.
