Unfortunately, the talk is that the Milwaukee date will NOT be the last on his current tour. Having the tour finale here would have been very cool and guaranteed a great show. Harleyfest doesn't really count but it still was very good and very long at around 3 1/2 hours.

was at the st patty's show and HF. st patty's show was a bit pedestrian but the HF show was probably one of the 3 best concerts i've ever seen. the shows were like night and day. overall, i've probably seen 5 Springsteen shows and every one has been unique. if you went once and think they're all the same, you're sadly mistaken. whatever, though, i kinda feel that way about the Stones, so i know how you folks feel. i do think it's funny, however, that some people will go see their friend's lame band every other weekend, yet think a legend like springsteen puts on the "same" show and comes around too often. i also heard this was the last show of the tour, so i would expect it to be a pretty special show.

I've seen Springsteen plenty of times since the seventies. But this last show on St. Patrick's Day was probably it for me. I'll still listen to the music but the band is getting older. It's not the same live show as it was. The energy and synchronized moves are gone and I doubt if he'll ever jump on top of a piano playing guitar again. Clarence Clemons' age was showing as well. He looked very arthritic. Not saying this to be critical, it's just sad to see it happen.
