Former Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros frontman, Perry Farrell, also the man behind Lollapalooza, performs for free Thursday at 1 p.m. at Beans & Barley, 1901 E. North Ave.
The show is a taster of Farrell's Thursday night concert with his new band Satellite Party at The Pabst Theater. The 8 p.m. and afternoon concerts also feature the New York-based Aussie band Mink.
According to a press release, the performance is, "in support of Perry Farrell's Solutionists and their vision for a cleaner, greener and better planet Earth."
