Residents can hold on to the summer just a little bit longer as Cedarburg transforms outdoor "Summer Sounds" into indoor "Ozaukee Nights" this fall.
Adding to its already impressive plethora of community events, Cedarburg unveils a new fall concert series Thursday evenings at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.
Concerts begin Sept. 25 with a performance by indie artist Katie Todd. Running on intermittent Thursdays between the end of September and Thanksgiving and featuring mainly Midwestern musicians, the series features such artists as De La Buena, Steve Poltz, Mike Mangione and Will Phalen and the Stereo Addicts.
Beginning at 6 p.m., concerts last just under two hours and include a 15-minute question and answer session moderated by a local celebrity.
Each event caters to family entertainment, providing food and beverage for purchase, encouraging families to bring blankets to relax on the carpeted floor and allowing families to get home just before 8 p.m.
