All of this New Year's resolution hoo-ha got me thinking about lifelong resolutions, especially what I want to do before I die. That's another blog, I guess, but for now, here's a list of musicians I hope to see before it's curtains.
1. Björk (Preferably in her home country of Iceland, but Chicago would be OK, too.)
2. Joni Mitchell (Lyrically speaking, Joni said it all.)
3. Tool (Can't believe I missed their '07 show.)
4. Madonna (My eternal 15-year-old must check her out live, just once.)
5. R.E.M. (What more can I say? I like Stipe.)
6. Joanna Newsom (Again, can't believe I missed her in '07.)
7. Talking Heads' reunion show (I've seen David Byrne twice, but never The Heads.)
I'm sure there are oodles more, but what about you?

Two bands come immediately to mind. 1. My Bloody Valentine Hey, they're back! 2. Swervedriver Hey, they're back too! 3. Super Furry Animals Fortunately this will become a reality in February.

Many of the groups that I have been fortunate enough to see, have come and gone. I still would like to see Rage, Chris Cornell again. A Soundgarden reunion would be nice. Tool, the list could go on....
