FORT ATKINSON, WIS. -- Today I rode all of a mile and a half, down to the miniature golf course behind the bowling alley here in Fort Atkinson. It was grueling. The golf, that is.

Not much else in the way of cycling news...

• Bill and Satch and Jeremy and I had our hour of glory upon the field of honor and then met Chris at Guanajuato's for lunch.
• Horchata is a wonderful recovery drink.
• Discovered that yesterday I sunburned my forehead through the vents in the helmet, giving me the classic "triceratops" look.
• Rode back to the Carpe and didn't see my car parked out front. Actually thought, "now, where'd I park my car?"
• Played a show at the best intimate music room on the continent.
