The OnMilwaukee.com editorial office is cheering at the announcement that Anglo-Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A. will perform at Turner Hall Ballroom on May 12 at 8 p.m., with special guest Holy F*ck.
Tickets are $27.50 and go on sale Friday, March 28 at noon.
M.I.A.'s second disc, "Kala," was released last year to rave reviews and it was named an album of the year by NPR, Rolling Stone and Blender, to name a few. Her debut, "Arular," was spun so often in our office that the disc wore out!
