Just a word of warning: This podcast might go on record for being the loudest we've done.
Father Phoenix is a band not known for its quiet moments and we're told it creating something of a musical storm when it played live in the WMSE studio during the spring membership drive. Grab some earplugs and check 'em out live at the Cactus Club this Saturday, June 23 with Hoss and Asraba. Look for a debut album to surface soon.
Night Terrors. Again, not for the meek of ear. We're sad to repot that the band's show at the Points East Pub this Saturday with the Reptile Forcefield will be its last. Take a listen to "Stuck to you" and get ready for a rockin' goodbye show.
You can read Bobby Tanzilo's interview with EIEIO here. The cow punk pioneers have just released their long-overdue third full-length and are hitting up Shank Hall this Saturday for a double CD release show with the Bryan Cherry Band.
Let us again remind you that the editor in chief of CMJ ranked "Cemetery Trails" by The Goodnight Loving as the No.1 record of the year in 2006. We play "Dead Fish on the Banks," the first track off that acclaimed record. See them live at Lulu this Saturday with Vancougar.
