Hey, welcome back. How many of you went to the Samwell show at The Mad Planet on Saturday?

Brent and I have a smattering of good songs to play for you this week because, really, supporting local music starts with listening to it. So here you go.

The Nice Outfit will be at the Cactus Club this Friday, April 11 to perform all the fun stuff of its relatively new EP, "Kissing Jocelyn." Mark Mallman and Tim Schweiger (Ex-Yesterdays Kids, The Obsoletes) are also on the bill.

Want a dance party? Head to The Mad Planet Saturday for a massive set by Def Harmonic, with the Rusty P's, Kid Millions, Epcot & Salva and WMSE's very own Bts.Wrkng.

You probably haven't heard the rock force that is The Beowolves yet, have you? This band is not messing around. Check it out live this Friday at the Borg Ward with 36 Years and Color Me Dead. As always, Borg Ward show are all-ages.

John The Savage is gracious enough to give us all something to do on Thursday night, so the least you can do is show up. The band takes the Linneman's Riverwest Inn stage with John Muther. So there.

Band information:
The Nice Outfit
Description: The Nice Outfit is a powerhouse, paint-peeling pop combo based out of Milwaukee, WI. Boasting a fab guitar duo in Terry Hackbarth and Paul Wall and a top rhythm section in Jon Phillip and Nate Norfolk, the Outfit is the sound of a tidal wave carashing into Brian Wilson's sandbox as if the summer would never end. Tough, good time garage mod; Brill Building as the Now Sound! Driving to the gig with nitro in the tank. Check out their new e.p. at finer Milwaukee record stores.
