Wonder what happened to Stephanie Dosen, that Milwaukee singer who seemed destined for stardom about five years ago? Well, she's still writing and performing music and is now headed to the UK for her first tour there.
She supports Duke Special on 14 dates starting Feb. 7 in Newcastle and finishing up Feb. 22 in Oxford. She'll play in Glasgow, Scotland, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and London, among other places.
Dosen has also signed with UK label Bella Union Records and releases a single, "This Joy," in April with a CD, "A Lily For The Spectre" scheduled for May release.
She recently had a track on a CD attached to an issue of Britain's respect Mojo magazine. Last year, her song "Oh So Beautiful" was featured on CBS' "Numbers."
