Hollis, Queens was in the house Friday night as the Bucks beat the Wizards 99-90. Yep, the two rapping members of arguably the greatest group in hip-hop, Run DMC, sat front row behind the Washington Wizards as they posed for photos, signed autographs and visited with friends.
Run (Joseph Simmons) and DMC (Darryl McDaniels) were in town, according to Andrea Williams from V-100 and a part of the Bucks entertainment crew, "to visit with friends."
Security guards ushered Run and Darryl and the rest of their posse to and from their seats, and the whole group left the game with about 2:30 to go in the fourth quarter.
McDaniels, dressed in a simple black tee, was introduced on the JumboTron by Williams in the first quarter. DMC used the time to ask "what's up" to the crowd and to plug his single "Just Like Me" featuring Sarah McLachlan.
