Kings of the fast, furious and fun rock and roll, Jay Tiller's Couch Flambeau are a Milwaukee punk rock treasure. And the band plays Friday, Oct. 23 at Club Garibaldi.
According to Tiller -- who I spotted, or rather, who spotted me, at "Beatlemania Now" on Friday -- the show also features, "a rare sighting by space-rawk band F/i, and also Dr Chow's Love Medicine in an attempt to get Riverwest people to drive south over the Hoan for once."
Tiller also says that C.F. is mixing new tunes at Electrical Audio in Chicago, which implies that Steve Albini is at the controls, since it's his studio.
In the meantime, check out the band's "The Pack is Back" on its MySpace page.
