Artist management company Urban Vision Worldwide hosts the 2MuchTalent Urban Music Seminar, Saturday, Feb. 23 at Club Nostalgia, 7155 N. 43 St.
The event, which includes a performance by local rapper Tray Gee and a panel discussion -- titled "Breaking Music Locally in Today's Music Industry" and featuring local DJs, promoters, publicists and radio PDs -- kicks off at 4 p.m. Cover is $10.
As part of the seminar, around a dozen local artists compete to win a demo and promotional package that includes studio time, street promotion, sponsorshop and more.
Doc B will provide music at the event and Reggie "Smooth as Butter" Brown hosts the showcase.
"We are excited to keep bringing the 2MuchTalent Seminar to Milwaukee, and hope to keep the buzz going on the city's music scene," says Antonio Reese, CEO/talent manager for Urban Vision Worldwide. "The array of talent in this city is going unseen, and we provide an avenue for these artists to get noticed. Our showcase empowers, enlightens and enriches the lives of our city's talented singers and rappers."
