Chill on the Hill concert series in Humboldt Park has expanded. The Bay View Neighborhood Association (BVNA), in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks hosts 13 dates this summer, beginning June 3 and concluding Aug. 26.
The series is a family-friendly event taking place every Tuesday night and parking is plentiful. Nights involving opening acts comprising local school and youth groups begin the fun at 6 p.m. with bands taking the stage at 6:30.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the eclectic mix of music. A Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck sells refreshments.
"We're looking forward to a full summer of music at Humboldt Park's band shell. This year, attendees can look forward to an even bigger and better opportunity to meet their neighbors and chill on the hill," said event chair Carol Voss.
