Bull's Eye Records, the shop that has replaced the now-defunct Farwell Music, has officially opened for business, according to owner Luke Lavin.
For the new shop, Lavin, who closed Farwell Music at the end of March when faced with a major rent increase, transformed half of the space that once housed the Constant Reader Bookshop at 1627 E. Irving Pl., behind Comet Cafe, with the design help of local artist Harvey Opgenorth. The shop will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and is considering adding Sunday hours.
