Throngs of dedicated, fiercely loyal fans worship Bruce Springsteen and Harley-Davidson.

For thousands of those fans, Saturday was a long and frustrating day.

Tickets for Springsteen and the E Street Band's Aug. 30 concert at Harley's 105th anniversary party were to go on sale, but a technical glitch -- apparently caused by heavy Web traffic -- snarled the system. Some fans, however, did manage to eke tickets out of the stymied site.

According to Harley's Web site, tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. April 14.

"Harley-Davidson deeply regrets the inconvenience to customers and greatly appreciates their patience during the delay," the company said in a press release.

All tickets to the show are general admission. In order to purchase the tickets, which cost $42.50 each, fans must also purchase a ticket to the 105th anniversary, which costs $65.
