Published: Aug. 30, 2009 - 10:18 a.m. - The Milwaukee Independent Film Society presents the 11th installment of the Milwaukee Short Film Festival, billed as the longest-running film festival in Milwaukee. The three-day event takes place Sept. 11-13 and boasts 44 films from around the globe.
13. On the town in Milwaukee: Less than a year and counting

During the one-night visit, the tour will present an award-winning documentary, "An American Opera: the Greatest Pet Rescue Ever" on Thursday at the Oriental Theatre.
