The new DreamWorks animated film opens in theaters today. Early word has it that the movie is animated in a retro style, with an assist from the latest in 3-D technology.

It's aimed at the under-12 demo, but adults should enjoy the voice work of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and others. There also is a feminist undertone as Witherspoon's character crashes through a glass ceiling to help a band of misfits save the world.
