What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published Aug. 19, 2007 at 8:54 a.m.

Steve Buscemi's latest film, "Interview," was for a long time listed on the Internet Movie Database as "Untitled Steve Buscemi Project." That's because in addition to starring in the film with Sienna Miller, he also directed it and adapted the screenplay.

The movie -- which features Miller and Buscemi almost exclusively -- is a remake of a 2003 film by the late Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh.

A hard news-hungry political reporter, Pierre Peders has been sent to interview Katya (Miller), a sexy actress better known for who she's sleeping with than anything else.

He's unhappy about it and even more so once Katya arrives late for their meeting with nary an excuse. Within minutes, far from hitting it off, they appear more ready to hit each other.

But a car accident outside the restaurant hurls them back together and they embark on a night-long ... well, who knows what to call it.

It's part flirtation, part war of words, part interview, part cat and mouse game. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure how to explain it without spoiling it.

So, I'll just say that while there are moments during the film at which you'll likely roll your eyes and think, "saw THAT one coming," there is plenty of good acting, plenty of good writing and plenty of unexpected moments and emotional depth to make the 83-minute "Interview" worth seeing.
