United Way of Greater Milwaukee kicked off its 2008 fundraising campaign recently with a goal of $44 million.
The theme of this year's campaign is "Live United." You may have seen the outdoor boards and various other ads around town. Many have also noted people wearing "Live United" T-shirts at events this summer, including Summerfest and State Fair.
United Way now teams with Boston Store to bring these simple message T-shirts to the public. You can purchase them exclusively at Boston Store at the Shops of Grand Avenue.
According to Maressa Sullivan, public relations specialist at United Way, "The T-shirts went on sale Tuesday, Sept. 2, and cost $10 each, with all proceeds going to United Way of Greater Milwaukee. Boston Store has an in-store T-shirt display and will also feature two Live United window displays along Wisconsin Avenue, which go up this weekend. The window displays will be up until the end of the month."
The T-shirt sale runs through December.
