The East Side Open Market kicks off this Thursday with a special market that will "Celebrate Dads."
In addition to the produce, food and crafts provided by more than 25 vendors, the market will feature free activities and live entertainment by John Stano.
Stano, a singer/songwriter, plays guitar and harmonica to create a mix of folk, blues and contemporary music.
In addition, "Celebrating Dads" day will feature free wine tasting provided by Beans & Barley, plant-your-own cuttings from Riverwest's Kellner's Greenhouse and sidewalk chalk for street art.
The East Side Open Market runs every Thursday, June 12 - Oct. 9, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. It takes place in the Beans & Barley parking lot, 1901 E. North Ave.
