Fein Brothers, Inc. located at 2007 N. Martin Luther King Dr. has survived for more than 80 years. It's an icon.
Today, the business is changing ownership structure as several employees are buying the Fein Brothers brand, along with its inventory and assets.
Dine Out, Inc., the new owner, is owned by industry veterans Todd Minkin, Ben Minkin and Kevin Kavanaugh. Combined, the group has more than 55 years of experience providing food service solutions to independent restaurant operators, schools, hospitality and healthcare facilities.
"The Minkin name has been associated with the Fein Brothers brand for over 50 years," notes Todd Minkin, whose father Gil joined Fein Brothers in the 1950s. "We are honored to continue this legacy."
Under the Fein Brothers name, Dine Out will operate the vast showroom servicing the immediate needs of customers by providing everything from small wares such as stock pots and ladles to large commercial refrigeration and food preparation equipment, in addition to quality reconditioned used products.
Originally home to a Schuster's Department Store, the showroom building is located in the Brewers Hill Neighborhood.
The company also provides complete food service layout and design services to the food service industry.

It is good to see the employees are taking over a great business instead of outside entities. I hope that the tradition of great service continues. It is a great place to shop even for an amateur home cook.
